Planned giving

Make your mark,
leave your legacy.

Planned giving is a way to ensure that the values that matter to you are passed on to future generations. It is also an opportunity to take advantage of estate planning strategies and tools to make the most of your charitable donation.

Debunking the myths of planned giving

A planned donation is much easier to arrange than you might think. Most of the financial tools involved do not require the services of a professional.

  • The HEC Montréal Foundation will recognize your contribution immediately, rather than when the funds are actually disbursed.
  • A large estate is not necessary to be able to make a donation that has a significant impact.

We would be happy to assist you, whether you’re just starting to give the matter some thought or you’re further along in the planning process. Our FAQ section is a great place to start.

Meet our planned giving committee

The HEC Montréal Foundation planned giving committee was set up in 2009. The volunteers who sit on the committee are alumni, friends of HEC Montréal and donors. They are there to support the Foundation’s work and provide expert insight and advice to the Foundation’s team on life insurance, financial planning, tax considerations and other matters related to planning giving.
