Financial Assistance for Resubmission of External Grant Applications

Based on the availability of funds of the Research and Knowledge Transfer Office, the Financial Assistance for Resubmission of External Grant Applications competition aims to support research faculty who have unsuccessfully applied for external grants. The objective of this support offered to faculty members is to encourage reapplication to research grant agencies.

Maximum amount	$7,000 for one year
Deadlines	February 1st May 15th September 1st
Eligibility criteria	Be an HEC Montréal research faculty member Have applied for an external grant in the past 18 months, but have not received funding Not be a chairholder
Evaluation criteria	Budget relevance General quality of the application submitted
Eligible expenses	Salaries/scholarships for research staff Data collection fees
Ineligible expenses	Book purchases Scientific conference fees Fees related to writing and submitting articles Other fees not related to the research project
Application	Must contain a copy of the grant application and communications received from the funder (e.g., comments, ranking), as well as a description of how the requested funding will be used Must be sent using the form to: demande.recherche@hec.ca
