Objectives of the Mathematics and Statistics Help Centre

• Help students solve particular difficulties in mathematics and statistics. They can thus achieve better results in their courses with mathematics and statistics content at HEC Montréal.

• Offer individual help to students who encounter difficulties in their quantitative courses arising from a lack of basic knowledge of mathematics and statistics.

• Organize sessions to review mathematical and statistical concepts used in the BBA, certificate and graduate diploma courses (Administration)
• Evaluate the knowledge of students facing difficulties in mathematics and statistics, to provide appropriate help 
• Supply, when necessary, educational materials to students who find mathematics and statistics difficult.
• Coordinate the administration of the mathematics test (BBA).
