Book a space on the HEC Montréal campus

Study rooms and Bloomberg stations

Members of the student community who are taking at least one 1-credit course during the current semester can reserve study rooms or Bloomberg stations on the self-service platform.

Booking rules

• You cannot book a study room more than 8 days in advance, except for study rooms located in the library, which may be booked 15 days ahead of time.
• The total duration of your bookings cannot exceed 4 hours in a single day.
• You may not book more than one space for the same period.
• Recurring bookings are not permitted.

Computer labs

Before going to the computer labs, members of the student community must login to the room booking platform to check when these labs are available. Bookings are not required for these spaces.

Trading room

The trading room is accessible to the entire student community on a self-service basis at certain times.

Student group leaders must make a request to Student Services before booking:

• A classroom
• A public hall
• A student lounge

HEC Montréal offers a variety of spaces for staff and faculty members. Some can be booked on the self-service platform, while others require prior approval.

Areas available via self-service booking:

• Workstations in the Hélène Desmarais Building
• Offices in the Hélène Desmarais Building
• Study rooms (can be booked by teaching department employees only)
• Meeting rooms (book directly in Outlook)

Spaces requiring approval:

• Computer labs
• Study rooms (for non-teaching department employees)
• Public rooms
• Classrooms
• Trading room (to book the trading room, please contact the team directly)
• Online Training Studio
