The School’s second building, located at 5255, Decelles Avenue, is inaugurated by Québec Premier Robert Bourassa in the midst of the October Crisis.
The Chair of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses is created. Today, the School has more than 100 research units.
The Office of Research is created, as well as a PhD in Administration, offered jointly with 3 other university-level institutions in Montréal.
The Master of Science (MSc) is created. There are now around 20 specializations offered.
The first international student exchange agreement is signed with ESSEC Business School in Paris, laying the groundwork for the current exchange program (website in French only), which is now the leading exchange program in management in Canada.
The School launches a new line of short graduate programs. Today, there are more than 20 such programs, now called graduate diplomas (D.E.S.S.).
