HEC Montréal Audit Committee

This committee was constituted by the Board in 1974. Its mandate was confirmed by the Board of Directors in 2012.

Mandate

This committee has a very detailed mandate, the main points of which are as follows:

• Oversight mandate with respect to financial information.
• Oversight mandate with respect to risk management.
• Oversight mandate with respect to internal controls.
• Supervisory mandate with respect to the internal auditor.
• Supervisory mandate with respect to the independent auditor.
• Oversight mandate with respect to legal and regulatory compliance. 

This committee meets on a regular basis five or six times a year.
