Montréal, January 29, 2025 – HEC Montréal invites media representatives to the annual Measuring Beyond Conference on sustainable and responsible management of businesses and organizations, on February 11, 2025, in Montréal.
At a time when our society is undergoing considerable transformations and challenges, this event will bring together over twenty local and internationally renowned scholars and experts, thought leaders and professionals from a wide variety of sectors to hold discussions on the key theme of “Social Impact at the Heart of Sustainable Transition”.
The conference will provide a platform to understand the crucial role of the “S” in the ESG acronym (Environmental, Social and Governance factors) often overshadowed by the other two, and to discover concrete and innovative examples to transform business strategies for a fairer and more sustainable future.
The Measuring Beyond Conference is organized by HEC Montréal in partnership with the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School. This event is presented by KPMG and powered by Executive Education HEC Montréal (ED).
HEC Montréal and Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford have joined forces to create the Measuring Beyond initiative in order to help businesses improve their ESG performance and reporting. Together, they hope to encourage corporate executives and professionals to integrate ESG factors into their core strategies, give them the tools to embrace greater sustainability and accountability in their operations, and empower them to commit to the principles of transparency and responsible investing.
