This course aims at developing the skills and abilities necessary for the design and implementation of an operational database and the development of the applications required for its use.
Databases are an essential element of information systems. This same data will later be transferred into data warehouses to allow managers and functional analysts to use business intelligence technologies and carry out in-depth analyses. The course will discuss performance issues and database administration.
