This course prepares students to manage projects with a structured plan-driven approach. This approach includes many techniques, tools, and best practices which can help a manager through the multiple phases of a project: Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure.
A majority of organizational initiatives, innovations, and changes are created or implemented by projects. The project management discipline has developed significantly in recent years. One of the structured approaches for managing projects uses a plan-driven approach. This course prepares students to manage projects with a structured plan-driven approach.
