Would you like to meet the consultants of tomorrow? Join us for Focus Consulting 2026, the year’s flagship recruitment and networking event in the consulting field. This event will give selected companies the opportunity to present themselves dynamically through 8-minute pitches, then meet a selected group of students who have distinguished themselves through the excellence of their academic, professional, and extracurricular backgrounds.

Companies will be selected based on the relevance of their opportunities.

Places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Why participate?

  • Free participation
  • Preferred visibility among HEC Montréal’s most promising talents: students taking part in the networking portion will be selected based on their cumulative GPA, involvement in student associations, and CV
  • CV Book made available to participating companies ahead of the event
  • More than 200 participating students, mainly from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years of the B.B.A. and the M.Sc. The presentation portion is open to all students, including MBA, D.E.S.S., Ph.D., and certificate students
  • Mentions on the Career Management Services’ social media channels


Schedule and format

10:45 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. — Company set-up

11:40 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. — Employer pitches

  • Each company will present successively for 8 minutes in an amphitheater
  • This portion is open to all students interested in careers in consulting, across all specializations and programs
  • Presentation in French
  • PowerPoint may be used
  • We encourage you to showcase your employer brand, organizational culture, and internship and job opportunities, including position titles, requirements, timelines, and recruitment process, in a dynamic and original way
  • A 30-minute break will be scheduled, and a lunch box will be provided

2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. — Networking

  • Informal space to connect with selected students
  • Each company will have an assigned table
  • No promotional material will be permitted, except for one roll-up banner per company
