Thursday, October 9, 2025

This unique event aims to connect our student community with professionals who have successfully pursued international careers and have had work experiences in other countries or Canadian provinces

  • Professionals from abroad who are now settled in Quebec
  • Individuals who have had Canadian experience outside of Quebec

Format:

  • Each mentor will be assigned to a high table, and students will be able to freely engage in discussions with them throughout the cocktail event.
  • Conversations will take place in French, English, or another language chosen by the mentors.

Role of the mentors:

  • No formal presentation is required
  • The role of the mentors will be to share their experiences informally, covering a wide range of topics, from the reasons for their expatriation to potential career changes that followed, as well as the advice they wish they had received.

Location:

HEC Montréal’s new downtown campus
Édifice Hélène-Desmarais
501 Rue De la Gauchetière O, Montréal, QC H2Z 1Z5
