An HEC Montréal Professor for nearly 30 years (1975–2004), he played a number of roles at the School, including Director of the Institute of Applied Economics (1982–1984), a member of the BBA program reform committee (1983-84) and a member of the editorial committee for L’Actualité économique (1983–1985).
