An HEC Montréal Professor since 1985, he has been the Director of Certificate Programs since 2013. He is known for his creative teaching approaches and has been honoured several times for his development of teaching materials for students and the accounting profession. At the School, he served as Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Gestion journal (2001–2006) and as Director of the Department of Accounting Studies (2009–2012).
