An HEC Montréal Professor from 1985 to 2021, he has been the Director of Certificate Programs (2013–2019). He is known for his creative teaching approaches and has been honoured several times for his development of teaching materials for students and the accounting profession. At the School, he served as Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Gestion journal (2001–2006) and as Director of the Department of Accounting Studies (2009–2012).
