Macky Tall graduated from HEC Montréal in 1990 and began his career as senior manager for Hydro-Québec, MEG International, Novergaz and Probyn & Company, and he also chaired the Board of Directors of Ivanhoé Cambridge.
Co-Chair of the infrastructure sector in the Carlyle Group, he occupied a series of progressively senior positions for 16 years at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) and served as Head of Real Assets and Private Equity of CDPQ, and President and CEO of CDPQ Infra.
