One of the first Europeans hired by HEC Montréal, he was a pioneer in higher business education in Quebec. As the second HEC Montréal Director, he guided its destiny for over 20 years (1916–1938). In addition to developing international exchanges, he consolidated the School’s faculty, improved preparatory classes and encouraged the creation of evening and correspondence courses.
