HEC Montréal Scholarships: Donors’ Generosity Shaping the Future

May 2, 2025

More than $1.2 million in scholarships have been awarded to HEC Montréal students in recognition of their academic achievements, community service and spirit of determination.

The HEC Montréal Foundation and Alumni Relations Office was proud to attend two scholarship ceremonies on April 29 and 30.

Both evenings were a unique opportunity to recognize and get to know our recipients, and highlighted the vital importance of the Foundation’s donors, whose contributions made it possible to award 434 scholarships for the winter 2025 term. Each of these admission, research, encouragement, international exchange and academic excellence scholarships is essential in supporting the efforts of an inspiring and engaged group of up-and-comers.

During a bustling networking reception, the honourees had a chance to meet and strike up conversations with the people whose generosity will help them get ahead.

In his remarks, HEC Montréal Foundation President and CEO Michel Patry thanked the School’s philanthropic community for their ongoing support:

“I would like to express my profound gratitude to all the people, companies and foundations who, year after year, choose to give to HEC Montréal. Scholarships are more than financial aid: they open doors, nurture ambition and, in some cases, are the only reason someone can keep up their studies. Thank you for believing in the next generation and helping us empower them to build a stronger society.”

The HEC Montréal Foundation and Alumni Relations Office congratulates all those who received a winter 2025 scholarship. Through their drive, their social engagement and their can-do attitude, they will lead our business community forward. These scholarships will enable them to study abroad, start up a business, carry out innovative research or continue their academic journey — and, in so doing, turn their dreams into reality.

Thanks to the commitment of the Foundation’s generous donors, we can continue to celebrate the diversity, talent and vision of those who come to HEC Montréal from across Quebec and around the world.
