The Centre de la petite enfance HEC (CPE-HEC) opened its doors in February 1987. It can accommodate 112 children, including 20 infants, from 3 to 18 months, and 92 children, from 19 months to 5 years.
Supporting early childhood
The CPE-HEC offers Accueillir la petite enfance (PDF, 9 MB – in French), a program developed by the Ministère de la Famille et des Aînés of Quebec promoting the overall development of children. Activities are presented within a perspective incorporating all dimensions of child development: cognitive, language, motor and socio-emotional.
Inscription
Admission priority is given first to the children of HEC employees and students. Once the needs of the HEC community have been met, any remaining spaces are offered to children on our waiting list, based on the referrals received through the portal.
Registration Portal
To place your child on the CPE-HEC waiting list, you must register on the Quebec government’s registration portal. Since we have two locations, you must register your child for each location if you wish to secure a spot at either one. You may also choose just one.
