« I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Finance, with the background in Financial Engineering and experience in trading and investment consulting. My research is mainly about institutional investors' preferences and effects in the equity market. In that vein, first I study institutional investors' preferences for equity market risk characteristics and analyze how different interest rate environment would alter these preferences. So I pursued the CFA designation, and a few years later I applied for an MSc degree in Finance. I worked as a Credit Specialist for 1 year, and then worked in academia for 5 years. Being admitted to HEC’s PhD program in Finance is like a dream come true. Upon completing my PhD degree, I might take up a career in consulting as I’ve always found this field interesting. »
