Mathematics and Statistics Help Centre

The Mathematics and Statistics Help Centre offers individual help for mathematical prerequisites and basic statistical methods taught in HEC Montréal's courses. It also offers support in getting started in data analysis with common softwares or programming languages, for students' needs in courses.

Our workshops at the beginning of the semester provide early support for these prerequisites. If your need is for a specific session of a  MATH course, please first ask for support to your professor or teaching assistant (you will find their consultation schedule in Zone Cours). Individual support from MSHC would be your plan B.

Other support activities have been implemented over the past two years. In collaboration with the BBA program, the ATEL19003 Mise à niveau Excel courses (in French only) are organized for all groups of newly admitted BBA students at the beginning of the fall and winter terms. Likewise, collaboration with the MBA program has made it possible to reinstate the preparation workshops for the TAGE MAGE admission test, which take place over five weeks, in January–February and May–June.
