Multiplying Opportunities for Women to Succeed: A New Matching Gift Campaign for the Women’s Fund
Every donation made between March 8 and 31, 2026, will have double the impact for female students facing financial hardship
To mark International Women’s Day, we are launching a new HEC Montréal Foundation matching gift campaign benefiting the Women’s Fund. The purpose of this initiative is to support women enrolled at HEC Montréal in overcoming significant financial obstacles.
Growing needs for female students
The challenges facing the women at HEC Montréal are increasingly complex. In just one year, eligible applications for Women’s Fund scholarships have shot up 15%, underscoring the considerable financial needs that exist within the student community.
Some of these applicants are single mothers or returning to school after a prolonged absence. Others may have experienced social isolation or violence. But they are united by a spirit of determination and resilience. Empowering them to pursue their academic aspirations is essential to building a more equitable society.
An ambitious target for 2026
Drawing inspiration and momentum from the remarkable response to last year’s campaign, the HEC Montréal Foundation would like to take things to the next level in 2026 by raising enough money to fund at least 15 $3,000 scholarships for female students in financial need.
Every donation will go twice as far
From now until March 31, all contributions to the Women’s Fund will be matched dollar for dollar* through the support of Enterprise Mobility and donor Agathe Normandeau. Each gift is more than an act of kindness: it is a source of motivation and encouragement to enable women to unlock their potential and shape the world of tomorrow.
The entire HEC Montréal community is warmly invited to join this collective effort and make a meaningful difference to levelling the leadership playing field.

The HEC Montréal Foundation Women’s Fund provides incentive scholarships to women who are going back to school, are single parents, are experiencing financial challenges or are facing other difficulties while enrolled at HEC Montréal.
