November 23, 2016

The 4th annual celebration in Toronto was a tremendous success, as over 120 alumni and businesspeople from the Francophone community in Toronto gathered on November 17, 2016.

Three School alumni who are pursuing their careers in Toronto (Geneviève Comtois, BBA 1999, McGill - HEC Montréal EMBA 2011, Global Pricing Strategy Manager, Shell International; Montu Gupta, MBA 2008, Director, Investment and Retirement Planning and Role Strategy, Mutual Funds and Portfolio Solutions and RBC Financial Planning; and Dominic Mailloux, BBA 1997, MSc Human Resources Management 2011, Director, Human Resources, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft) took part in a brief discussion moderated by Radio-Canada host Marjorie April that was popular with guests.

Given their different professional roles, Geneviève Comtois, Montu Gupta and Dominic Mailloux all offered complementary visions of their lives in Toronto. The discussion was an opportunity for guests to hear what life in Toronto is like for these three alumni. They may all have very different careers, but they are clearly united in their enthusiasm for HEC Montréal.

“If there’s one thing to remember when you move, it’s the strength of your university’s alumni network. It really allowed me to fit in and expand my circle in Toronto. Now it’s my turn to give my time to those who need it, as a way of thanking everyone who helped me.”

Dominic Mailloux, BBA 1997, MSc Human Resources Management 2011.
