Models and major tools for optimization in a dynamic contest: dynamic programming, Markov decision problems and optimal control. Application examples in management.
At the end of the course, the students should be able to identify a business management situation presenting a dynamic optimization problem, represent this problem using a suitable mathematical model, and solve it using one of the available techniques of dynamic optimization.
