To mark National Truth and Reconciliation Day, the HEC Montréal Library is hosting several exhibitions.
HEC Montréal, in collaboration with the First Nations Execituve Education School, invites you to discover “Voies parallèles”, an immersive exhibition based on the podcast of the same name, which features textual, visual, and digital content. It helps foster dialogue between nations and promotes a better understanding of Indigenous realities by placing them in their proper context.
The library presents nearly forty books by Indigenous authors or about Indigenous cultures.
Check out the guide to the “Indigenous Peoples” virtual exhibition to discover feature films and documentaries directed by or starring Indigenous artists and filmmakers.
Where: online
When: September 21 through October 19, 2026
The HEC Montréal Library (Lise and Giuseppe Racanelli Building) and the First Nations Leadership School present the exhibition “Change the Bill.”
The exhibition, created by the Native Women's Association of Canada (NWAC), is “an innovative design project that aims to promote reconciliation through art by inviting Indigenous artists to reimagine $20 bills featuring their Indigenous heroines. Featuring the likeness of an Indigenous woman on a banknote helps highlight and recognize the significant contributions of Indigenous women, who are too often excluded from the country’s history.”
