Gain access to a designated MBA space

The new building’s sixth floor hosts HEC Montréal’s MBA community. A team of architects conceived this space as a launching pad—a platform reserved to current and former students, as well as their associations. It is designed to foster learning, networking and your professional ambitions. This area serves as a gateway to the business and knowledge communities. It also offers access to business best practices from Quebec, Canada and around the world.

Kevin Johnson

“You have access to the best practices in management through our faculty and research community. You also have a chance to interact with employers seeking new talent and forward-thinking entrepreneurs looking to develop their projects.”

Kevin Johnson, Director of the MBA Program

Experience exceptional innovations

HEC Montréal’s MBA offers you the latest digital tools thanks to the new building’s modern technology. These tools facilitate teamwork and networking while also making HEC Montréal one of the few institutions offering a hybrid synchronous learning experience. This inclusive model mixes in-person and distance courses effectively and helps integrate people who are looking for greater flexibility. This model is particularly well suited to current work realities and accommodates a variety of work practices (from full-time in-person work in Montréal to remote work exclusively, and everything in between). It also allows a great number of people to find the right balance between family, studies and work.

One of the most anticipated buildings in the world

The design team wanted to create an emblematic building, not only in terms of its beauty and architecture, but also because of its exceptional environmental standards:

  • Environmentally friendly and responsible construction practices, which were developed in collaboration with community associations and neighbourhood residents, among others.
  • Green roofs and other biodiversity enhancements, geothermal energy and mobility measures that will contribute to the neighbourhood’s regeneration.
  • For these and other reasons, the building has been one of the 20 most anticipated architectural projects in the world according to Domus, a prestigious architecture, art and design publication.
Mykaïl Bamba, étudiant au MBA

“The building is very easily accessible, which makes my life easier. I also have more opportunities to network with fellow students. And, most importantly, I have more time to develop business relationships.”

Mykaïl Bamba, MBA student

The new HEC Montréal building is easily accessible, thanks to several public and active transportation services (metro, train, buses, REM and BIXI).
