MBA Essentials

your potential.

Are you a newly minted executive or about to be promoted to a management-level position? If so, now is the perfect time to invest in yourself to fast-track your success, build your confidence and strengthen your skill sets.

Part of your quest to become a better manager should include acquainting yourself with the other functions in your organization (human resources, finance, marketing and so forth), learning about best practices and honing your leadership style.

With the MBA Essentials program, you will learn the same basic concepts taught in the MBA program, only condensed into an eight-day format. By the end of the program, you will have acquired the hard and soft skills you need to excel in your role and leverage your full potential.

Six hours of personalized coaching
included in the program.

This program will let you:

  • Broaden your horizons and become more confident.
  • Expand the array of solutions at your disposal by exposing you to new concepts, practical analysis frameworks and best management practices.
  • Understand the strategic issues at play in your organization.
  • Turn your focus inward to evaluate your own management style and use it to your advantage.
  • Get ideas and inspiration through interactions with your fellow participants.

  • Professionals with at least nine years of experience
  • Aspiring managers
  • Newly promoted managers

In addition to training sessions on the various functions within an organization, we are proud to deliver an innovative and integrated approach rooted in four types of tools:

  1. Introductory seminar to help you contextualize your understanding of the managerial role
Using a self-assessment questionnaire, which has proven to be a useful tool for thousands of managers to date, and a series of in-class exercises, you will take stock of your career, examine your management-related values, attitudes, beliefs and behaviours, and explore your approach to employee motivation and engagement.
  2. Two three-hour personalized coaching sessions with an expert in working with business professionals
This will help you draw relevant lessons from past experiences, improve your introspective ability, experiment with new practices and strengthen methods that will help you move forward.
  3. A learning log that will be used throughout the program
After each of the sessions, you are encouraged to note what you have learned and add your personal thoughts about how they apply to your organization and your own development journey.
  4. A strategy sharing and implementation day at the end of the program
Engage in a discussion with your peers about the conditions that help or hinder the process of translating knowledge into action.
