This workshop will help you to navigate the renewal of immigration documents such as the CAQ, and the extension of your study permit. This is also a good opportunity to ask questions about your own situation.

Students are advised to file a tax return, whether or not they have worked. See Tax obligations for international students.
Learn the basics of Canadian taxes, such as tax credits for students. You will get an opportunity to pose questions to an expert from the Canada Revenue Agency.

Every year, students from the Société des relations d’affaires – HEC Montréal (SRA) help individuals complete their tax returns (even if the latter haven’t earned any money).
For the clinic, make sure you carry your Social Insurance Number (SIN) or an Individual Tax Number (ITN) .
