HEC Montréal stands out at the CPA student congress

March 20, 2014

At the CPA student congress held from March 14 to 16 in Saint-Sauveur, two teams of BBA students from HEC Montréal performed very well in the 14th interuniversity case competition. Louis-Philippe Nolet, Karina Panasci and Jérémie Plourde Perreault placed second, and Éléonore Jarry-Ferron, Alexandre Ladouceur Labonté and Audrée Laferrière, took third. The competitors had to solve a case related to accounting practice.

Close to 200 students took part in this second CPA student congress, organized this year by six HEC Montréal accounting graduates:  Mikael Desmarais, Fanny Feuiltault, Marie-Claude Girard, Émilie Greene, François Lapointe and Marie-Preycylla Leduc, in co-operation with the Ordre des CPA du Québec.

Note that the HEC Montréal students also won an honorary mention as the best delegation, for their energy and enthusiasm at the event.

Congratulations to everyone!
