Two MBA and BBA teams make the podium in the KGP competition

November 12, 2013

MBA students Jan Christopher Arp, Sylvain Giguère, Ashley Staton and Emil Vanjaka took 1st place in the graduate category of the KGP interuniversity case management competition, held at UQAM in early November. And in the undergraduate category, the team of BBA students Clairanne Addleman, Charles-Antoine Saint-Hilaire, Justine Santot and Dominique Tosini won silver.

The competition, now in its fourth year, brought together 40 teams of 4 students each (20 undergraduate and 20 graduate teams) from 8 Quebec universities.

The KGP competition consists of a one-day simulation. The competing teams had to put their knowledge to work to solve a project management case. The first round was held in the morning, after which the top teams, as selected by a jury of professionals, went on to the final round.

The competition is an initiative of the UQAM association of Master’s in project management students.
