Caroline_Munro_eOn December 5, Caroline Munro, a student in the Master of Laws, Taxation option (LL. M.) program, received a $1,500 scholarship from the Tax Executives Institute, in recognition of her excellent academic record. Every year, the Institute awards this scholarship to the student with the highest average in his or her year.

Caroline Munro, CPA, CA, completed her BBA at the School in 2009. She has been a Canadian Corporate Tax Advisor with KPMG since November 2012, specializing in corporate tax compliance, especially for companies working in the renewable energy field.

The Tax Executives Institute, founded in 1944 in New York, now has 7,000 members in 55 chapters in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Its primary mission is to strengthen and improve the tax system.
