Professor Sophie Marmousez wins the Best Article Award from Comptabilité-Contrôle-Audit

The award for the best article published in 2012 in Comptabilité-Contrôle-Audit (CCA) magazine was presented to Assistant Professor Sophie Marmousez (Accounting), at the annual general meeting of the Association francophone de comptabilité on May 31, in Montreal. Her article, entitled “Étude d'une exception française : les déterminants du choix de la composition du collège de commissaires aux comptes,” was chosen unanimously by the editorial committee, out of 16 articles in the running.

The award, presented for the first time in 2007, is intended to recognize innovation, contribution to the literature, rigorous methodology and quality of writing in the articles published in this scientific journal for accounting educators, researchers and professionals.

Professor Marmousez holds a PhD in Administration (DSc) with a major in financial information, auditing and consulting, from HEC Paris, and a diplôme d'études approfondies in Administration (DEA) from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She has been a professor at HEC Montréal since 2008.
