First place in the McGill Trading Simulation

April 5, 2013

For the second straight year, the HEC Montréal BBA student delegation took first place in the McGill Trading Simulation held by the McGill Investment Club on March 23. The School’s team of Jean-Christophe Aubert, Vincent Forbes, Gabriel Grenier and Maxime Nonglaton received a $2,000 prize for their victory.

The McGill Trading Simulation, which this year brought together over 200 students from 15 Canadian and U.S. universities, is one of the largest and most prestigious events of its kind in North America. Each student in the annual competition starts with a virtual portfolio of $200,000, and the team that generates the highest return on investment (the final value of the portfolio) takes the crown.

Congratulations to the winning team!
