November 29, 2013
Thanks to their outstanding results on the 2013 Uniform Final Evaluation (UFE) for the CPA, CA path, four graduates from the HEC Montréal Specialized Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy program were among the eight winners on the Quebec honour roll of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (Ordre des CPA). One of them, Francis Corriveau-Sauvé (PricewaterhouseCoopers), achieved the highest standing in Quebec, earning him a gold medal and a cash prize of $2,500 from the Chartered Accountants of Canada.
HEC Montréal offers its heartfelt congratulations to Francis Corriveau-Sauvé and the other three HEC Montréal graduates on the Quebec and Canadian honour rolls:
- Christine Bussière (Office of the Quebec Auditor General)
- Marie-France Lafortune (KPMG)
- Stéphanie Warthold (Deloitte)
HEC Montréal also wishes to congratulate all its 157 graduates from the Specialized Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy program who successfully completed this crucial step that all Canadian CPAs and CAs must pass in order to obtain their professional designation. In Quebec as a whole this year, 617 candidates passed this examination, considered one of the most challenging professional examinations anywhere.
