2012 UFE: Jonathan Dubuc, Quebec Gold Medallist

Thanks to their outstanding results on the 2012 Uniform Final Evaluation (UFE) for chartered accountants, six graduates from the HEC Montréal specialized graduate diploma in public accountancy program were among the 10 candidates to make the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) honour roll. One of them, Jonathan Dubuc (Chiasson Gauvreau), achieved the highest standing in Quebec, earning him a gold medal and a cash prize of $2,500 from the CICA.
HEC Montréal offers its heartfelt congratulations to Jonathan Dubuc and the other five HEC Montréal graduates on the Canadian honour roll:

HEC Montréal also wishes to congratulate all its other 151 specialized graduate diploma in public accountancy graduates who successfully completed this crucial step that all Canadian CPAs, CAs must pass in order to obtain their professional designation. In Quebec as a whole this year, 642 candidates passed this examination, considered one of the most challenging professional examinations anywhere.
