A team of BBA students takes 2nd place in the KGP competition

November 15, 2011

Vy Duong, Joël Collin-Demers and Arthur Rollin, all Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA) students, took 2nd place in the undergraduate category of the KGP interuniversity competition, held at UQAM in early November. Some 125 students on 32 teams faced off in the second edition of the project management competition.

The event consists of a one-day simulation exercise. The competing teams must put their knowledge to work to solve a project management case. The first round is held in the morning, after which the top teams, as selected by a jury, go on to the final round.

The competition is an initiative of the Montreal chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI-Montréal), a professional association with some 500,000 members in 185 countries, and is organized by the UQAM association of Master’s in project management students. The honorary chair of the 2011 contest was Benoît Lalonde, President of PMI-Montréal.
