Over $1.2 million in funding for 19 PhD and postdoctoral students, alumni and fellows

A total of 23 scholarships and fellowships, representing over $1.2 million, have been awarded to 19 HEC Montréal students, alumni and fellows by granting agencies for the 2011-2012 year. They were all selected by independent juries of expert researchers, based on the exceptional quality of their university work focusing on social, economic and cultural issues. The granting agencies* are the SSHRC, FQRNT, FQRSC and IFM2.

 

DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS

Twelve students received doctoral fellowships worth from $20,000 to $35,000 per year, for a period of up to three years.

HEC Montréal alumni also receive funding

Five School alumni pursuing doctoral and postdoctoral studies at other universities elsewhere in Canada or abroad were awarded funding from granting agencies on the strength of their academic records while they were at HEC Montréal.
