Jacob Lithgow Awarded a PRM SAS Institute Bursary

May 25, 2011

The very first PRM bursaries were awarded at the 12th Risk Management Career Conference, organized this spring by PRMIA Montréal. Jacob Lithgow, a Specialized Graduate Diploma student in Financial Professions and BBA (2010), was presented with the PRM SAS Institute (Canada) bursary in recognition of his excellent academic performance.

The purpose of the Conference was to bring together employers and final-year students in the fields of finance, risk management, economics and financial engineering. The event drew close to 150 people, including some one hundred students from HEC Montréal and other Quebec business schools. Many employers were on hand to meet the students and recruit potential employees, including the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Laurentian Bank, National Bank, Deloitte, Desjardins, Ernst & Young and KPMG.
