November 24, 2010

Two HEC Montréal teams, one of BBA students and the other of MSc students, placed second and third in the KGP contest, an inter-university project management contest held at UQAM on November 5. The first edition of the contest brought together 96 students, on 24 teams, from 6 Quebec universities.

The team that took 2nd place was made up of BBA students Joachim Coste, Catherine Descarie, Maxime Robitaille-Dussault and Jules Paquet-Régimbald. MSc students Pauline Capitani, Nadine Fournier, Daphné Lachapelle and Laurie Polisse made up the 3rd-ranking team.

The KGP Contest was organized by the Montreal chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) – a professional project management association with 285,000 members in 171 countries – and the UQAM Association des étudiants de la maîtrise en gestion de projet.
