These $2,000 awards, from SNC-Lavalin and Logimethods, recognize the special commitment of students who have taken at least one year off and then returned to study in an IT program. Candidates are evaluated on their academic excellence and must demonstrate an interest in integrating IT into business processes.

The scholarships were presented on June 1, at the golf tournament of the Action TI Tribune des CIO, an event that brought together some 20 chief information officers from companies and organizations at the La Prairie golf club.

Both students are currently carrying out supervised projects as part of their studies: Liliana at Alogient and Maude at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.
