2009 Prix Relève d'Excellence: Achievements, Energy and Talent

This morning the achievements, energy and talent of young (35 and under) HEC Montréal graduates were in the spotlight at the 24th annual Relève d'Excellence awards, put on by the Réseau HEC Montréal. Some 275 graduates and businesspeople attended this annual event, to enthusiastically salute the finalists and winners and draw inspiration from their drive and ambition. They met at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel for this breakfast gala, hosted this year by Nicolas Milette, President of National Bank Direct Brokerage.

> Young Professional: Jean-Sébastien Proulx-Maher (HEC 2004), Treasury Manager for Europe, SNC Lavalin;
> Entrepreneur: Suzie Talbot (HEC 2001), President, Diex recherche;
> Small and Medium-Size Business: Chantal Mercier (HEC 2002), National Director of Operations, Lasik MD;
> Large Business: Alain Bergeron (HEC 1998), Senior Portfolio Manager, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

Jury's Choice

The jury of 19 leading figures from the business and university communities was also most impressed by Jonathan Garnier (HEC 2006), chef and owner of La Guilde culinaire.
