Scholarships for Three Students from the Institut de finance mathématique de Montréal

February 6, 2009

Guillaume Bergeron and Mouhamed El Moctar Diop, in the MSc in Administration program, Financial Engineering option, and doctoral student Cédric Okou, Finance specialization, are among the recipients of 2008-2009 scholarships from the Institut de finance mathématique de Montréal (IFM2). Guillaume and Mouhamed will be receiving $15,000 one-year scholarships and Cédric will receive $20,000 per year over three years.

The students were selected by independent juries of expert researchers, based on their academic results and the quality of their research. Along with these three recipients, 46 other students received awards from funding organizations last fall, to allow them to pursue their studies at the graduate and postgraduate levels (see the news item dated October 27, 2008).
