The course will be a blend of in-person and online content OR fully online if the circumstances require it.
Emotional intelligence is a facet of human intelligence that shapes your ability to adapt to life events, based on the information conveyed through both your own emotions and the emotions of the people around you. The concept was originally put forward by Salovey and Mayer in 1990 to describe two types of intelligence that Gardner had already identified, namely intrapersonal intelligence, or the ability to know and manage your emotions, and interpersonal intelligence, the capacity to be sensitive to and interact effectively with others.
This seminar will enable you to acquire and fine-tune skills related to emotional intelligence and easily integrate them into your professional life. It will also empower you to develop positive work-related relationships and exercise your leadership.
Participants in all of our seminars will receive a certificate of completion from Executive Education HEC Montréal.
This program is not intended for individuals seeking to resolve personal issues, as its content and focus are educational rather than therapeutic.
