Anne Bourhis is a professor in HEC Montréal’s Department of Human Resources Management. Her particular field of expertise lies in staffing practices. She is a sought-after speaker and the author of two award-winning publications: Recrutement et sélection du personnel (2007, 2013), recipient of the François-Albert Angers Award from HEC Montréal in 2007 and an award from the Quebec education ministry in 2008; and À vos marques, prêts, gérez – La GRH pour gestionnaires (2009), for which she earned a second François-Albert Angers Award in 2009. Her main research focus is on topics related to recruiting, hiring, onboarding and workplace transformation. She has published articles in a number of academic journals, including Law and Human Behavior, Industrial Relations, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, the Journal of Applied Social Psychology and the Journal of Applied Psychology.
