An electrical engineer by training, Fadi Tarcha is Director, Global Strategic Accounts, for Vertiv, an international provider of mission-critical IT infrastructure and business continuity solutions. He is responsible for helping strategic customers on several continents achieve their objectives.
He heard about the MBA Essentials program at Executive Education HEC Montréal through a friend and looked it up online. “I saw that the School is a member of UNICON, a consortium of the world’s top business schools,” he said. “I did a little digging on social media to find out more. And then I talked to the program advisor, who eventually got me signed up!”»
The program appealed to him because he had completed his MBA early in his career. “The MBA Essentials program was a great refresher.”
Was he happy with the results? “Absolutely,” he says. “It’s the perfect way to fine-tune your managerial abilities. The content is really relevant, and the faculty, the guest speakers, even the people taking the program are all experts in their field. The conversations are incredibly illuminating, and having people from so many different backgrounds is a huge advantage. The classes were online because of the lockdown restrictions place, but even though we weren’t in the same room, we made some great connections. We even organized an online happy hour!”
Fadi would recommend MBA Essentials to professionals and managers looking to hone their business expertise and brush up on their leadership skills. He enjoyed the opportunity to update his own hands-on management knowledge, explore some key strategic issues and focus on his future career goals.
He is enthusiastic in his praise for the approach: “It’s an excellent solution for managers and professionals who want to take their career to the next level. The instructors are the cream of the crop, and many of them have experience in international markets, which adds a whole other dimension to the experience.”
