Since November 2018, Executive Education HEC Montréal has been a member of UNICON, the leading global consortium for university-based executive education, made up of 110 business schools from around the world.
At the end of April, Serge Lafrance, Director of Executive Education HEC Montréal, attended the first event organized by the consortium as part of the UNICON Directors Conference held in Moscow, Russia, on April 24 to 26.
Presented in association with SKOLKOVO Business School, the conference focused on the theme “In Search of Identity for Creating the Future.” Participants were encouraged to reflect on the role of culture in seeking out new ways of thinking and imagining the future of executive education.
“This type of conference is a unique opportunity to gain a better understanding of market trends and to interact with other heads of executive education,” said Mr. Lafrance. “Being at the event represented another step forward in positioning our school as a world leader in executive education and a chance to be inspired by best practices in the current marketplace.”
Participants were fortunate to hear presentations by such prominent speakers as Sergey Ryazansky, veteran cosmonaut, International Space Station, Andrei Belevtsev, Chief Digital Officer of Nazprom Neft, and Andrei Sharonov, President of SKOLKOVO Business School.
