The construction of the new building will be carried out according to the principles and requirements of the Directive sur la gestion des projets majeurs d’infrastructure publique, adapted as appropriate to take account of the role of HEC Montréal.
HEC Montréal is the project manager for the planned addition of premises (Order in Council #281-2014, February 2014).

HEC Montréal wishes to invite its future neighbours and the surrounding community to a meeting on Monday, October 22, for an update of the most recent developments in the construction of its new building, which is set to open in fall 2021 next door to St. Patrick's Basilica, in the heart of the city’s business district.
The architectural concept, the archaeological inventory conducted in summer 2018, means of commemorating the site’s heritage, and its landscaping will be discussed.
