2020–2023 Strategic planning

Even the best recipes can be improved.
Have your say.

“The ideas that emerge — your ideas — will help us carry out our strategic plan, the tool that will inform our actions and decisions from now to 2023.”

Federico Pasin, HEC Montréal Director

This strategic planning exercise comes at an appropriate time, as a new executive team takes office. It is part of best practices in terms of sound governance and transparency.

HEC Montréal has seen spectacular growth over the past 20 years

  • Enrolment has greatly increased, in a steadily rising number of study programs
  • Our partnerships in Quebec and across Canada and internationally have grown
  • Our research and knowledge transfer activities have expanded

We all want to go further

You believe in our mission of teaching and research and community service. You have ambition, enthusiasm and creativity to spare. And that’s what the School needs to support this planning exercise.

But how can we consolidate our achievements and best catalyze our strengths?

How can we make our School even more rigorous, relevant, daring, respectful and engaged?

How can we shape the future of HEC Montréal while ensuring that every member of our community feels at home and is proud to study or work here or get involved along with us?

Together, we are trying to find the best answers to all these questions.

The School hears you
