MacroMontréal est un réseau reliant les macroéconomistes de l'Institut d'économie appliquée de HEC Montréal, à ceux des départements de sciences économiques de l'Université de Montréal, de l'UQAM, de l'Université McGill et de l'Université Concordia. Les objectifs de MacroMontréal sont d'accueillir des économistes de haut niveau qui peuvent stimuler les débats sur des questions pertinentes en macroéconomie et partager leur perspective sur les problèmes économiques courants.

MacroMontreal, HEC Montreal, and CIRPEE will host the “Symposium on Labor Market Frictions and the Business Cycle” on Thursday, May 30^th, 2013.

The meeting will bring together researchers working on empirical and theoretical aspects of macroeconomics, focusing on the impact on business cycle and economic policy of search frictions in the labor market, workers heterogeneity and worker-employer matching.

REGISTRATION: Participation is restricted to registered participants, and is free of charge. To participate to the Symposium, please email Renee.Bouchard@hec.ca.
