The TFI (Test de français international) is designed to measure and certify the French-language aptitudes of non-Francophones. It assesses candidates’ ability to communicate in French in a professional or international communication context.
Candidates who did not study in French may be required to take the test before being admitted to their chosen program. Candidates who have completed a secondary-level, collegial or university program of studies in French are exempt from taking the test, in which case candidates must include a photocopy of their diploma or transcript with their application.
