The program is structured into four compulsory phases worth a total of 57 credits. Each credit is equivalent to 45 hours of course work, projects and exams. Courses are grouped into four (4) phases. Phases 1, 2 and 4 are part of the core curriculum, whereas Phase 3 provides students with an opportunity to specialize in a given area of expertise.
Comprised of over 600 hours of courses, HEC Montréal’s MBA provides an intense experience from which students will undoubtedly reap the rewards. Organized into six-week sessions rather than into semesters, the program provides an original and efficient approach that doesn't waste any time.
Phase 1 – The role of the manager and business fundamentals | 16.5 credits |

Supervised consulting field project Through the supervised consulting field project, students make their mark as they carry out a five-week business consulting mandate.
