| All HEC Montréal MBA classes are held in the Côte-Sainte-Catherine Building, which was inaugurated in 1996. Designed by a consortium comprised of architect Dan S. Hanganu and architectural firm Jodoin, Lamarre, Pratte et associés architectes, the building earned HEC Montréal and the consortium the award of excellence in the “Institutional Architecture” category in 2000 from the Ordre des architectes du Québec. While designing the building, Mr. Hanganu quietly observed students at work, a covert exercise that would inspire the Côte-Sainte-Catherine Building’s study areas, which are bathed in natural light. |
| The Myriam and J.-Robert Ouimet Library, considered one of the world’s finest business libraries and renowned for its immense electronic document collection, was the subject of the 2007 exhibition “100 ans de littérature d’affaires au Québec”. This exhibit celebrated 100 years of business writing in Quebec, in particular the contributions to the worlds of economics and business by Quebec authors, from the 20th century to today. |
Registering, selecting courses, managing student records, checking e-mail and consulting schedules… all daily parts of student life. High-speed Internet access throughout its facilities, combined with a number of remote access applications (online admission, ZoneCours, Webmail and HEC en ligne), provide HEC Montréal students with a technological environment tailored to their reality. Technology also plays a vital role in their courses. Prime examples include the National Bank Financial (NBF) trading room and the Standard Life Room. |
